The U.S. State Department today has ordered the Russian Consulate in San Francisco to close by September 2nd, 2017.
TDS is attempting to ascertain the status of any visa applications currently in process within the consulate, we will provide updates as soon as information becomes available.
All passports have been returned by the Russian consulate to Travel Document Systems.
In addition to the Consulate in San Francisco, Two buildings were also ordered to be closed one each in Washington DC and New York.
We will provide updates as soon as they become available.
The closures in Washington DC and New York will not affect visa processing.

The U.S. State Department today ordered the closing of the Seattle Russian Consulate.

Due to the recent closure of the Seattle Russian Consulate, the Russian Embassy in Washington DC, visa processing times are being extended due to the increase in application volume.
