Update: Nov 6th, 2019 The Embassy of Jordan has for the third time in the past 3 months revised the visa validilty and fees for U.S. citizens applying for visas to visit Jordan. 

As of today November 6th the new options are as follows, US citizens can once again apply for single or double entry visa, along with the new 5 year multiple entry visa offered only to US citizens. Applicants of different nationalites are eligible for the single and double entry visa, and a 6 month multiple entry NOT the 5 year multiple entry offered to US citizens. 


Update: Oct 15th, 2019 all US citizens applying for a visa to Jordan will now be issued a 5 year multiple entry visa, the Jordanian embassy in Washington DC no longer offers 2, 3, and 6 month visas. 

All visas for Jordan will now be processed by the Embassy of Jordan in Washington DC. The Consulate of Jordan in San Francisco has stopped issuing visas moving the process to the embassy in Washington.
