The Russian government has announced a new Russian visa e-invitation pilot program aimed at replacing the current original letter of invitation required to apply for aRussian Business Visa. 

The Russian FMS will issue an e (electronic) Russian business invitation if requested to do so by the host company, this option will eliminate the need for the old hard copy style of invitation.
