October 20th 2015 the Pakistani Government has introduced a new Business NGO visa type.

All NGO visas will be processed by the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC

Travelers to Pakistan intending to visit or do business with an NGO in Pakistan can no longer apply for a Business Visa.
The new NGO Business Visa must be applied for in all cases.

The visa will be valid for up to 1 year and good for multiple entries in most cases.
The Embassy strongly advises appling for a visa up to 6 months in advance of intended travel date, as the approval process for an NGO Business visa will be lenghtly.

The Government of Pakistan has announced a new policy that will regulate the registration, working, funding, monitoring and other related aspects pertaining to all types of International Non-Governmental Organizations functioning in Pakistan.
