The online Brazilian visa application form will undergo a scheduled update between Friday evening, February 26th, and Sunday evening, February 28th. During this period, the visa application form will not be online. Once the system is online again, a new version of the visa application form will be available by Monday February 29th. Very little to no notice was given by the Brazilian Embassy regarding this application form update, traveldocs will post requirement changes, application completetion instructions and helpful hints as soon as possible. Applications completed prior to 2/28 may have some compatibility issues with the new Brazilian software. Traveldocs will try to assist during this transition period. Items we are aware of so far: 1. Your passport type photo must be uploaded as part of the application process. We recommend saving your photo to your desktop before starting the application process. 2. A copy of your signature must be uploaded, at this time (2/28 am) we are unaware if this should be a copy of your signed passport. (update to follow ASAP). 3. When you access the above site, you may get a message "untrusted connection." This is because the security certificate for the webpage was issued by the Brazilian Government is not recognized by most web browsers in the USA. This is not a security issue using traveldocs.com web site. 4. For English, click on the "British Flag”. 5. As part of the application process you will need to upload your passport type photo, we recommend saving your photo to your desktop prior to starting the application form. 6. Once you have filled out all of the fields, you will be prompted to print a "receipt" like form that will have bar codes on it, and the emblem of Brazil at the top. 7. Print this page and sign your name inside the rectangle at the bottom of the page (not below the rectangle). This page along with all supporting documents should be sent to traveldocs for processing.
