Washington DC and New York are expecting a major snow storm starting early friday through saturday evening.
Foreign embassies and the U.S. passport agencies are likely to close early on friday and possbly be closed monday or longer.

Update: Friday 1/22  traveldocs Washington office will be closing today at 1pm due to the early arrival of the storm, many embassies have decided not to open today and possibly monday. For assistance after 1pm please contact traveldocs offices in Houston or San Francisco.

Traveldocs New York office will also close early today at 4pm.  

Update: Monday 1/25 traveldocs DC office closed, Foreign Embassies and the U.S. Passport Agency also closed.

Traveldoc NY office will be open with limited staff, most foreign consulates closed.

Update: Tueday 1/26 traveldocs DC office closed, Foreign Embassies and the U.S. Passport Agency also closed.

Traveldocs NY office will be open, some consulates may still be closed.

Update : Wednesday 1/27 traveldocs DC open today, U.S. Passport Agency is open with limited staff, most embassies are open today.
