Talk of visa reform is finally becoming reality in Eastern Africa. Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda have just introduced the East Africa Tourist Visa which allows multiple entries between the three countries for a period of 90 days.
On March 31st 2014, I attended the reception hosted by the Ambassadors for The Governments of Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda to announced the launch of the joint East Africa Tourist Visa.
This new tourist visa category was created to help promote tourist travel to these three countries. If traveling too all three or any combination of these countries you can apply for one visa which will be valid for entry into all three.
This visa will be valid for 90 days from the date of first entry and good for multiple entries into each country.
If you wish to apply for the East Africa Tourist Visa you must apply with the first of the three countries you are entering into.
