The Embassy of DRC informed us this morning that their machine used to create and print a visa is currently broken and they are waiting for a technician to come in from France to repair it. There is no time frame for when it will be back up and running.

Traveldocs will check with the Embassy daily and update this post as soon as information becomes available.

UPDATE effective April 16th, we have been informed by the visa officer that the machine has been fixed and he will be able to start issuing visa today.

UPDATE April 22nd, although we were informed multiple times that the Embassy visa "Machine" was broken we have found out that in fact it was never a broken machine, They have a new Software system that was installed to issue visas that was and to today still is not functioning. The Embassy has reverted back to the old rubber stamp method until the new software is up and running.

Visas to the DRC howver are being issuing again.
