Brazilian Visa Regulation To End June 17, 2019. The Government of Brazil has announced that citizens of the United States, Canada, Japan, and Australia will no longer require a visa to enter Brazil after June 17, 2019, for Tourist, Business, Artistic or Sports, Short-Term Seminars and Conferences, and Transit purposes. Be advised that entry before June 17, 2019, will require a visa. Visitors from these four countries will be granted a stay of up to 90 days in Brazil, which can be extended once for the same period of stay, as long as the traveler does not exceed 180 days within a 12 month period, starting on the date of first entry.
