How It Works

A Namibia Electronic Travel Authority or Namibia EVOA is an electronically stored authority for travel to Namibia for short-term Tourist, Business, or Cruise Ship travel for U.S. citizens plus most other nationalities.

Required documents upon entry to Namibia:

Return Ticket - Proof of Return/Onward Ticket.

Health/Travel Insurance - Coverage for medical expenses.

Accommodation/Itinerary/Invitation - Copy of Hotel Reservation/Booking, Host Invitation and copy of Itinerary.

Funds - Proof of Financial Means for your stay.

Traveling with Children - Full Birth Certificate and if necessary Parental Consent, children under 6 no Evoa is required, children between 6-11 the fee is half the cost of an adult.

Walvis Bay International Airport, Hosea Kutako International Airport, Trans-Kalahari Border Post, Oranjemund Border Post, Katima Mulilo Border Post, Noordover Border Post, Impallila Island Border Post, Ngoma Border Post, Oshikango Border Post and Mohembo Border Post.


       Namibia EVOA  Conditions

  • You must not work while in Namibia unless advised otherwise by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
  • You can enter Namibia as many times as you want during a 30 day period from the date the Namibia EVOA is granted.
  • Passports should be valid for at least 6 months after you plan to exit Namibia and 3 blank pages.
