1 US passport holders must pay a reciprocity fee for Argentina prior to departure - apply directly with the Argentina government at http://embassyofargentina.us/embassyofargentina.us/en/consularsection/news.htm or for a surcharge PTDS will process this for you at http://www.traveldocs.com/uploads/forms/ArgentinaFeePTDS.pdf Please bring your printed receipt of payment with you. Passengers must show receipt of payment to board flight to Argentina and upon entry to Argentina.
2 Electronic Travel Authority required for Turkey must be obtained prior to travel - apply directly with the Turkish government at https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ or for a surcharge PTDS will process this for you at http://www.traveldocs.com/uploads/forms/TurkeyPTDSETA.pdf The ETA is submitted online, the ETA approval will be returned to you via email, you MUST carry the ETA approval with you at all times.
3 Electronic Travel Authority required for Sri Lanka must be obtained prior to travel - apply directly with the Sri Lankan government at http://slembassyusa.org/consular/visitors-to-sri-lanka/ or for a surcharge PTDS will process this for you at http://www.traveldocs.com/uploads/forms/SriLankaPTDSETA.pdf The ETA is submitted online, the ETA approval will be returned via email.
4 Visas for Cambodia are required ONLY for passengers booked on the Angkor Wat extension.
5 Visas for Jordan are required ONLY for passengers booked on the Lost City of Petra extension. Visas are not issued upon arrival at the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge land crossing. Visas MUST be obtained prior to depature.
6 Visas for the following countries may be obtained on arrival: Bhutan, Egypt, Dubai, Oman, Kenya, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Lebanon, Maldives, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Bolivia and Jordan (when arriving by air from the U.S: an advance visa for Jordan is required if you will be arriving overland from Israel: see footnote #5 above)
7 Electronic Travel Authority required for Australia must be obtained prior to depature - apply directly with the Australian government at https://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ETA/etas.jsp or for a surcharge PTDS will process this for you at http://www.traveldocs.com/uploads/forms/AustralianPTDSETA.pdf You must bring your printed confirmation with you.
8 A visa for Bhutan is required but included in your tour cost. A scanned copy of your passport information page is required by General Tours in advance of travel.
9 A visa for Tibet is included in your tour price but has very specific restrictions. Please call General Tours Operations Department prior to applying for your Chinese visa to ensure that your application is accepted.
10 South African immigration REQUIRES that you have a minimum of TWO FACING AND COMPLETELY BLANK visa pages in your passport at the time of entry. Note that these cannot be the reserved for amendments and endorsements pages at the back of your passport.
11 Individual Russian visas MUST be obtained in advance of sailing. The Russian Far East voyages involve special permission to enter the area, as such all passengers MUST have a visa for Russia. General Tours will provide you with a letter of invitation/voucher to be submitted with your visa application approving entry into Russia.
Visas are NOT required for short tourist stays in the following countries:

Africa Switzerland Taiwan Thailand The Netherlands Uruguay.
Please note that your passport should be valid for a minimum of six months beyond the completion of your travel and should contain the minimum number of fully blank visa pages as indicated in the instructions for each tour program. We can assist you with the renewal of your passport at the same time your visas are issued or independent of any visa applications.
