Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. U.S passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport is not valid 6 months beyond intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

In addition to your original passport, you must also send to TDS a copy of the vital data page and any page in your passport that has a visa, entry or exit stamp on it.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Turkey, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Letter of invitation from host company or organization, along with a copy of company tax registration certificate, the inviting organization/authority is required to provide assurances for covering food and accommodation expenses. The applicant is required to have sufficient and/or regular remunerations.

A copy of the applicant's hotel confirmation is required.

A copy of the Applicant's recent bank statement or evidence of adequate finance, such as a letter from a bank, or money market statement. It is advisable to erase account numbers.

Proof of worldwide medical insurance valid for travel to Turkey is required.
