Non-US Citizens: Get your South Africa Business visa with the TDS Washington DC Office

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 30 days beyond intended stay and must have at least two blank visa pages. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.
A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If your passport is not valid 30 days beyond your intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

A Photocopy of Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) or valid U.S. visa and I-94 or US Student Visa and I20 form is required.
Travelers who entered the USA after April 26th 2013 should print the electronic I-94 form from the
Department of Homeland Security.

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

A business letter of responsibility of required, to be typewritten on your company or organization's letterhead and addressed to:

The letter should explain all of the following:
The letter should explain the purpose of the trip, the nature of the duties to be performed, name and address of company to be visited in South Africa, and guaranteeing financial support and return transportation.

Letter of Invitation from the South African Company/Organization confirming purpose and duration of visit.

A copy of the applicant's recent bank statement/letter of undertaking from the company. It is advisable to erase account numbers.

Copy of hotel confirmations(s) for the duration of the intended stay in South Africa.

Yellow Fever certificate if arriving from, or traveling to, or through, the yellow fever endemic area.
