US Citizens: Get your Kuwait Work Visa visa with the TDS Washington DC Office

Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 24 months and must have at least one blank visa page. Foreign Embassies cannot issue a visa on a page not labeled as a Visa page. Amendment and Endorsement pages in the back of the passport cannot be used for issuance of a visa.

A visa cannot be stamped on a page even if only one Small Stamp is on the visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport expires within 24 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

The Original Work Permit, plus one copy.

Note: Once the work permit has been issued The Embassy of Kuwait recommends waiting 15-20 days before applying for the visa.

A FBI clearance obtained from the FBI, certifying that the applicant has no criminal record.

The FBI clearance will need to be Certified by the US Department of State in Washington DC and by the Kuwait embassy or consulate before the visa can be obtained.

2. Health Certificate: Obtained from the local doctor certifying that the patient is in good health and free from contagious diseases.The report must include lab test results for the following: Hepatitis B & C  -  Chest X-Ray for Tuberculosis - Malaria - Filariasis - Syphilis.
