TOURIST TRAVEL
* U.S. Passport must be valid at least 30 days beyond intended stay in S. Africa and contain two blank visa page. Note: The last three pages in the passport are reserved for Passport Amendments and cannot be used as visa pages.
* Tickets and Documents for return or onward travel.
* No visa required for stay up to 90 Days
* Hold proof of sufficient funds relative to your intended length of stay.
* Confirm with the airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa.
* Vaccinations - International Certificate of Vaccination required for Yellow Fever if Arriving from Infected Area within 5 days.
Requirements for Minors
All applicants age 18 and under must hold an unabridged full birth certificate or a certified copy.
If the minor is entering with one parent then the minor must also present an affidavit from the absent parent stating consent to travel or a court order stating the full parental right to the accompanying parent or a death certificate in case the other parent is deceased.
If the minor is traveling with an adult other than the minor's parent (s) then the minor must also present an affidavit from the parents/legal guardians stating consent to travel, copies of identification documents of the parents/legal guardians and contact details of the parents/legal guardians. All documents should be carried by the minor when entering South Africa.
Unaccompanied minors should contact the South African consulate for full details.
BUSINESS TRAVEL
