REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO TRANSIT UKRAINE

Transit Visa

  • Submit your valid signed U.S. passport (must have at least six months remaining validity)
  • 1 Visa Application Form
  • 1 Passport-type photograph
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
  • Valid Visa and other required documents for onward destination
  • Copy of itinerary or airline/rail tickets to exit boder of Ukraine.

Additional requirements

  • For Double Transit Visa
    Additional fee of $10.00 for two week issue or $20.00 additional fee for four day issue.

  • Include credit card authorization, a check or money order payable to to "Travel Document Systems, Inc." for TDS handling fee per visa, plus Embassy Consular Fee per visa, and return Shipping Fee.

Rush Fees:

  • (1) Normal processing time is 2 weeks. Rush fees apply to urgent applications. Visa fees are non-refundable if the application is rejected by the embassy for incomplete or incorrect data. TDS is not responsible for rejected applications.
  • (2) 24 hours rush visa processing is not available.
  • In order to expedite rush visa, please include a copy of flight itinerary as proof of urgent departure date.

Visa Information
  • The UKRAINE Transit visa is issued for a single entry or double entry within six months of issue date, for a period of transit of five days. The visa does not permit the traveler to stay in Ukraine. Extension of visa is not possible.
  • Double entry visas can be issued if travel itinerary specifies two entries or if a letter is attached to the application requesting a double entry and explaining why it is needed. A $110 consular fee applies for this visa (issued in 9 business days)
  • Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued. TDS can assist with obtaining U.S. Passports, whether new issue, renewal, or obtaining additional visa pages for a valid passport.
  • Special requirements apply for U.S. Official and Diplomatic passport holders
