REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER RUSSIA
Transit
Visa

Transit visa is required if period of stay in Russia exceeds 24 hours or a traveler needs to change the airport. The Transit visa cannot be issued for longer than 72 hours

ORIGINAL Passport, signed, required to be submitted. Must be valid for further 6 months and must contain two blank facing pages, not including page 22,23, 24, PLUS a photocopy of the vital pages.

Federation).

Processing time commences when all correct documents have been received by the Consulate. Your application
will be checked and hand carried to the Russian Federation
Consulate; normal processing time is approximately 7-10 Days.
