all travelers (from any country) more than 9 months of age who
go outside urban areas.
Panama recommends for travelers
who are destined for Darien province.
MALARIA
Malaria exists in rural areas in the eastern provinces (Darien
and San Blas) northwestern provinces (Boca del Toro) and Veraguas)
Lake Boyana area and Lake Gatun. No Risk in canal zone or in Panama
City and vicinity.
CHOLERA
Cholera is reported in areas of the country
