REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER LESOTHO
U.S. citizens do
not need a visa for tourist or business travel to this country.
A valid U.S.
Passport is required.
Any U.S. citizen
who wishes to travel to Lesotho for any purpose other than tourism
or business negotiations (e.g. work, study, adoption, immigration,
or stays longer than stipulated in the entry requirements) should
contact directly, the embassy or nearest consulate.

- The visa is usually valid for 90 days
from the date of issue, for a length of stay up to 30
days.
- Lesotho does not maintain a consular
office in Canada. Therefore, Canadian residents may apply
through Washington DC. TDS requires payment by money order
or certified check, or by credit card. UPS
shipping rates will be higher than the domestic US rates
shown above.
REGISTER YOUR TRIP:
The U.S. Department of State encourages all American travelers to register with their local Embassy or Consulate when arriving in a foreign country. Registration helps the Embassy to provide important services for American citizens residing or traveling abroad. Some of these services include:

Without the information provided through registration, the Embassy is severely hindered in its ability to provide these services. Many of these services involve emergency situations and time constraints, therefore failure to register will almost certainly lead to delays at moments when you can least afford them.
