REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER ISRAEL
Tourist
- Business Visa

U.S. citizens
do not need a visa for tourist or business travel to
this country.

A valid
U.S.
Passport is required.

A visa is
required for Official and Diplomatic
passport holders.
- Any other
U.S. citizen who wishes to travel to Israel for any purpose other
than tourism or business negotiations (e.g. work, study, adoption,
immigration, or stays longer than stipulated in the entry requirements)
should contact directly, the embassy or nearest consulate.

- TDS is
not able to assist with expediting visas for Israel, other
than for foreign nationals who are permanently residing in
Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, or Washington DC.
- A printable
visa application may be available here but it is intended
only for use at the Washington DC embassy of this country.
You should confirm with the consulate, full visa requirements
and acceptability of this visa application before using this
form.
- In most
cases the visa for Israel must be processed by what is called,
Consular Jurisdiction - or, the consulate which has jurisdiction
over the state in which the applicant resides - usually the
nearest consulate.
- In some
cases there may be delays of several days, or even weeks,
issuing visas for some foreigners traveling to Israel and/or
a personal appearance for an interview at the consulate may
be required. Call the consulate to confirm these details before
sending an application or purchasing travel arrangements which
may be subject to cancellation penalties.
