REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN VISA TO ENTER INDONESIA

Tourist Visa
  • Submit U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity
  • 2 Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed
  • 2 Passport-type photographs required
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
  • Copy of most recent bank statement required
  • Letter from employer verifying employment or leave of absense
  • Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary
  • Letter explaining purpose of trip to Indonesia
Social Visit Visa

  • Submit your valid, signed Passport with at least 6 months remaining validity
  • 2 Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed
  • 2 Passport-type photographs required
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
  • Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary
  • Letter explaining purpose of trip to Indonesia
Business Visa
  • Submit your valid, signed Passport with at least 6 months remaining validity
  • 2 Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed
  • 2 Passport-type photographs required
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
  • Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary
  • If a multiple entries visa is required, an invitation from the host organization in Indonesia is required
  • A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

Consulate General of Indonesia, Visa Section, New York, N.Y.

    The letter must state all of the following
    • The nature of the business performed
    • The name of the business reference to be visited
    • Guarantee sufficient financial support for the visit
    • Guarantee return transportation to the USA.
    • The business letter should be signed by a company officer/manager other than the applicant.

    $45.00 Per visa - Stay up to 30 days
    $100.00 Per Visa - One Year Multiple Entry/up to 60 day stay

  • Include credit card authorization, a check or money order payable to "Travel Document Systems, Inc." for TDS handling fee per visa, plus Embassy Consular Fee per visa, and return Shipping Fee.

Visa Notes
  • The Indonesia visa is usually valid for three months from date of issue, for stay not to exceed 30 days
  • The Multiple Entry visa is available for business visitors only. Letter of invitation from host company in Indonesia is required. The Multiple entries visa is usually issued for stays up to 30 days, but may be issued for stays up to 60 days - at the discretion of the Consul.
  • Passport must have at least six months remaining validity beyond the stay, and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued. Multiple entry applications require that the passport contain at least one year of remaqining validity. TDS can assist with expediting applications for U.S. Passports, whether new issue, renewal, or obtaining additional visa pages for a valid passport.

REGISTER YOUR TRIP:

The U.S. Department of State encourages all American travelers to register with their local Embassy or Consulate when arriving in a foreign country. Registration helps the Embassy to provide important services for American citizens residing or traveling abroad. Some of these services include:
  • Locating individuals in cases of family or personal emergencies,
  • Relaying important travel and safety information about the region,
  • Arranging evacuation transportation in cases of natural disaster or civil unrest,
  • Issuing replacement passports when originals are lost, and
  • A number of other administrative services relating to personal documentation.
Without the information provided through registration, the Embassy is severely hindered in its ability to provide these services. Many of these services involve emergency situations and time constraints, therefore failure to register will almost certainly lead to delays at moments when you can least afford them.
