NOTES
* On July 01 1997, the sovereignty of Hong Kong reverted to the Peoples Republic of China.
* Under an arrangement referred to as "One Country, Two Systems", Hong Kong will become a Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of China.
* Visa Requirements for visitors to the HKSAR will remain as they were under British sovereignty.
* The Hong Kong Immigration Department will continue to process and approve applications from those nationalities that require them.
* The only difference is that Chinese rather than British Consulate offices will accept the visa applications.
* Travelers visiting Hong Kong after visiting China, and then returning to China, will continue to require a double entry visa to
China
