Medical insurance is required for all foreign citizens
traveling to the Republic of Belarus. This medical insurance can
be obtained upon arrival at airport and border entry points. More

- Transit visas
are required for all travelers heading to or from Russia or other
New Independent States via Belarus (even if the traveler has valid
Russian visa or visa of other NIS state)
- The Consular
Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic
of Belarus has introduced a simplified procedure of obtaining
Belarusian guest and business visas by the citizens of Argentina,
Bulgaria, Brazil, Great Britain,
Hungary, Canada, Slovakia,
Uruguay, Chile, Switzerland,
South Korea, South African Republic
and Japan.
- Starting
from the August 1, 2003 the citizens of the abovementioned states
will not need invitations to obtain a visa valid for up to 30
days in Belarusian diplomatic mission abroad. This category if
visitors will only need to present a passport, completed application
form and a photograph.
REGISTER YOUR TRIP:
The U.S. Department of State encourages all American travelers to register with their local Embassy or Consulate when arriving in a foreign country. Registration helps the Embassy to provide important services for American citizens residing or traveling abroad. Some of these services include:
