YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION
International Certificate of Vaccination
for Yellow Fever is required upon arrival if traveling from an
INFECTED AREA and the traveler is more than 9 months of age.
Also required for travelers

Angola Bolivia
Cameroon Ecuador
Gambia Colombia
Guinea Peru
Kenya Panama
Mali Venezuela
Nigeria
Sudan
Zaire
Brazil recommends vaccination for
travel to the rural areas of : Acre and Rondonia States; Territories
of Amapa and Roraima; part of rural areas of the following states:
Amazonas, Goias, Maranhao, Mato Grasso, Mato Grasso do Sul, Para,
Tocantins.
MALARIA
Malaria exists in Acre and Rondonia States; Territories of
Amapa and Roraima; part of rural areas of the following states:
Amazonas, Maranhao, Mato Grasso, Para, Tocantins. Resistance to
chloroquine is confirmed.
Travelers who will visit only the
coastal states from the horn to the Uruguay border and Iguassu
Falls are not at risk.
CHOLERA
Cholera is reported in areas of the country
